Martha
Neyman presents its research on the treasure of Rennes le Chateau.
Templars are involved.
They hid what they held most precious...
NON NOBIS, DOMINE, NON NOBIS, SED NOMINI TUA DI GLORIAM. ABOUT TEMPLARS: HIDDEN TREASURES AND A SMALL VILLAGE IN THE SOUTH OF FRANCE : THE HIDDEN TREASURE OF THE TEMPLE.
As rumor has it, a treasure
lies hidden in or under the village church "Sainte Madeleine" in
Rennes-le-Château. And if the answer is yes:
What is its nature: Is it a worldly (i.e. gold
and silver) or a Spiritual treasure (i.e. "knowledge")! Rennes-le-Château, though a
small village on a hilltop, lost in the foothills of the mighty Pyrenees, yet
is now known all over the world, because of the rumor that in 1886, an immense
treasure was found by its village priest Bérenger Saunière. Now a days the village has
but few inhabitants, still it possessed a much greater population in the days
of the religious and Cathars wars and was then quite an important stronghold. So, is there any truth in this
treasure story or is it a hoax ? Throughout the years
numerous authors sought to find the answer. Our curiosity was aroused
and we wanted to learn more, so in 1989 we started our own investigation, not
knowing that this research would keep us busy till this very day... To discover the truth we
not only put on our hiking boots and searched the fields around
Rennes-le-Château for hidden indications, but sitting behind our desk we did a
lot of reading as well. And, our answer, after many
years of profound research is: "YES"; Rennes-le Château is very
special and plays a great role in recovering a very precious treasure. We started with only few
indications: the persistent rumors about a too wealthy priest: Bérenger
Saunière and his enigmatic friend and fellow priest Henri Boudet. While Saunière was a
flamboyant personality, Boudet tried to remain in the shadows as much as
possible... Yet, he wrote a strange, and at first
sight, unreadable book: "La Vraie Langue Celtique et Le Cromleck de
Rennes-les-Bains". It was
published in 1886 but it was realized only much later, that this work plays an
important role in the riddle of Rennes-le-Château. Another clue we had was: The (de)coded text of two
parchments found by Abbé Saunière in the church "La Madeleine". Now a days, it is often
said that these parchments were a falsification, but we consider them as genuine! For those who do not know
this decoded famous phrase, we give it in French, followed by its translation. BERGERE PAS DE TENTATION QUE POUSSIN TENIERS GARDENT LA
CLEF PAX DCL XXX I PAR LA CROIX ET CE CHEVAL DE DIEU J'ACHEVE CE DAEMONDE
GARDIEN A MIDI POMMES BLUES. Shepherdess no temptation that Poussin and Teniers
guard the key PAX DCLXXX I by the cross and this Horse of God I complete this
world guardian at noon (or in the South) blue apples. N.B. We translate the words
"CE DAEMONDE" not as THIS DEMON (as is commonly done) but as "CE
DAE MONDE", THIS WORLD. In our opinion this phrase
should be read as: Shepherdess no
temptation... Poussin and Teniers guard
the key... PAX DCL XXX I By the Horse of God and the
Cross I complete this world Guardian at noon (or in the
South of France)) Blue Apples. So this decoded text
mentions a "KEY" given by TWO painters. And indeed, the first key
is hidden in painting "The Arcadian Shepherds", by the famous 17-th
century French master Nicolas Poussin. (Also known as: "Et in Arcadia
Ego...".) Apart from indications
leading to a secret Temple-Construction, we found in this painting our trump
card: "The Horse of God". The second "KEY"
is furnished by the equally famous 17-th century artist David Teniers, in a
painting of the torments of St. Anthony: "Pas de Tentation". Only two keys to open the
gates to a mystery, yet they hold much information to work with. By the Horse of God :
In 1989, just by chance, we
found this "Horse of God", during a hike in the region of Rennes-le-Château..!
It is a weird rock formation on the steep slope of a stony hill. From the moment we saw it,
it was and still is to us: "THE" Horse of God, as mentioned in the
decoded text of one of the parchments. And as we gradually found
out, this "Horse of GOD was a most important "KEY" in our
solution of the mystery of Rennes-le-Château. Yet finding this
"Horse" only answered one of many questions, raised by the decoded
text... Does a treasure really
exist ? Where and how to find this
treasure ? What can we expect to find
? Are the Knights Templars
involved ? After a profound research,
we think we found the answers and as it proved not possible (at least for us)
to reach the indicated point we decided to lay down our conclusions in what
became in time, three books. We conclude, that: YES, A
treasure is hidden... YES, Templars are involved.
They hid what they held most precious... This place is indicated by
the clues: in the Poussin and Teniers paintings, the decorations in the church
of Rennes-le-Château, the decoded texts of the parchments, the book written by
Henri Boudet and last but not least in "following the Horse of
God"... We made a long and profound
study of the strange Boudet book in the original French language and, so we
think, at length broke his code. According to his words, the
treasures once belonged to the Knights Templars and include: The TRUE Menorah, the Arc
of the Covenant with the Ten Commandments and an Urn. These treasures, so says
Boudet, are hidden in the great Hypaethral Temple, carefully constructed by the
Templars, before their downfall concocted by the French King: Philip le Bel and
the leader of the Holy Catholic Church: Pope Clement V. This great virtual Temple includes
Rennes-le-Château; Rennes-les-Bains and Coustaussa. THE HYPAETHRAL TEMPLE : This Hypaethral Templar's
Temple was built on a much older Celtic sanctuary: the stone-circles of the
"Great Cromleck of Rennes-les-Bains", as described in his weird book
by Curé Henri Boudet, friend and mentor of Abbé Bérenger Saunière. We concluded, that it was
NOT Bérenger Saunière who found out about the hidden treasure, but his older
colleague: Henri Boudet. We think, Saunière was paid
by Henri Boudet and instructed how to hide clues in his church "La
Madeleine". Boudet instigated the
design of the bas-relief of St. Mary Magdalene under the altar; the haut-relief
high up on the back-wall of the church, the Stations of the Cross number I and
X.. AND the crouching Devil lurking under the holy water font at the entrance
of the church. Saunière was only a straw
man, a blind, but inherited after Henri Boudet's death in 1914, his knowledge. Thus Saunière was the last
real "initiate" and after Boudet's demise the real guardian. About the Hypaethral Temple
Construction... The remains of an ancient
sanctuary were used by the Knights Templars to built a virtual Temple. The Templars used the once
Holy Stones of the Celts (i.e. stones as made by the "Hand of God",
rough and unhewn), as part of the foundation of their Great Hypaethral Temple. But
for new Roman Catholic faith, other stones, made by the hand of men, were used
to complete it. With these stones we mean:
Catholic churches and strongholds built by the Knights of a "new
Faith". Thus this imaginary Temple was built on stone as made by the hand
of God and completed by adding 16 churches and 8 castles. Like the ancient
fortification at Rennes-le-Château; the Templar's castle at "Le Bézu"
(Albezunum) and the stronghold the "Blanchefort". The new religion:
Christianity built its Temple on an ancient Celtic Sanctuary... At the beginning of
Christianization it was not unusually that a Christian church was built on the
remains of another and much older Sanctuary... So the Templar's did with
the ancient Celtic places of worship; Holy Stones still standing in the
surrounding of Rennes-les-Bains, at a distance of only 4 kilometers from
Rennes-le-Château. It was wonderful to find
all these things and to be able to make the invisible visible once again! To understand the doings and
the thoughts of our ancestors... A Temple of Faith... We found this Hypaethral
Temple not only by following the allusions in Boudet's book, but also in
indications in Nicolas Poussin's painting: "Et in Arcadia Ego"! Follow the
"Shepherd", as the Church used this word as a substitute for Priest
and in particular the Higher Clergy, guiding their flock, the believers. The Templars constructed
their virtual Temple, to hide their treasures acquired and found during the
Crusades, under the Jerusalem Temple of Solomon. The entrance to their
secret treasure vault can only be refound by using the route of the "Horse
of God". In the decoded text are the
phrases: PAX DCL XXX I By the Horse of God and the Cross Now we think that the
"Cross" should be linked with "PAX", resulting in a
Pax-Cross (leading to a circle divided in 8 sectors of 45°). Our problem was then, how
to place this Pax-Cross on a topographical map. Again the "Horse of
God"... As said, the "Horse of
God" is a strange rock formation, known and honored in the Celtic
sanctuary of Rennes-les-Bains. It is shaped like the
"Half Horse" as used in the game of Chess. In French it is the
"Cavalier" the "KNIGHT". The Knight... The Knights
Templars... The Temple Knights... LES
CHEVALIERS - THE KNIGHTS. A
KNIGHT AND HIS HORSE... The knight's (HORSE) move
in chess consists of TWO distinct movements. Therefore, from the horse in our
construction on the map, depart two important lines. And what is more: On the
day of the ancient "Winter Solstice" (Dec 24), when the sun shines,
its shadow shaped like a perfect half horse is thrown on the fields below. The shadow of the
"Knight"... Winter solstice: the day of
the return of new life, therefore, so the Church Fathers believed, Jesus Christ
was born in the night of 24 - 25 December. This date is also connected with St.
John the Evangelist; the Patron Saint of the Knights Templars and later
important in Freemasonry. Those who are initiated in
Freemasonry, know about what we are talking about... The devil in a church..? The "Horse of
God" in the field is linked with the Devil in the church of
Rennes-le-Château. We mentioned the rather
unusual existence of a life size "Devil" in this church and many a
visitor wondered "WHY" a demon is crouching in the corner of a
consecrated church while supporting a holy water font, this ensemble crowned by
four Angels making the "Sign of the Cross". This Devil hides his true
face ! (As Devils always do !) Seen from the right angle
in the dim light, this ugly Devil is in fact shaped like the "half horse
of chess", so we are not only tricked by the devil but also by Abbé
Bérenger Saunière or better still Curé Henri Boudet.
So this devil hides
"THE HORSE OF GOD", and, he was put in the proper place ! The black-and-white
floor tiles at the entrance of this church, were once laid in the exact pattern
of a "checkerboard" (8 by 8). But so often these tiles were removed
and now a days it is difficult to see the old layout, but it was there and the
"Knight-Horse" had his correct place in this game... The Horse is hidden too, though
under a different shape, in the bas-relief under the altar... It is impossible to explain
in a few words, "how" to solve the secret of Rennes-le-Château,
because it is so long and complicated. In this mystery a special
code was used: The secret language of
symbolism... Symbolic meanings used in
the Catholic Faith as well as in Freemasonry ! Finding this out and
breaking the code was not so strange nor so difficult as it might seem. After
all the Templars were believing Christian Knights, thus they used Christian
images and symbols to hide their secrets. What also intrigued us was the
fate of the Order of the Temple Knight after the holocaust ! Our research led us to
believe, that the reason for their downfall lay much deeper than just in greed
by King and Pope. We also found, that some
Templars, after hiding their treasure in the surroundings of Rennes-le-Château
(just before their downfall), continued the Order, in secret, in England... Officially, the Order was
destroyed, yet it rose like a Phoenix from its ashes... Although, the great might
of the Temple was destroyed and the danger parried for King and Pope, yet their
secret ideas lived on. SCOTLAND. The ex-templars who reached
Scotland, soon amalgamated with a powerful group around the Scottish King,
Robert the Bruce. From here would spring a
new society: The "Scottish Freemasons". Later this group, together
with the Stuarts, would cross again into France. The TEMPLE ORDER continued
in FREEMASONRY... At the end of the road in
search of the truth and in discovering the long lost treasure, we not only find
the priests Bérenger Saunière and Henri Boudet but their Bishop Felix Billard
as well, all initiated in secrecy as Freemasons (Martinists). We found so many other
important names in this list of the initiated, like e.g.: The painters Nicolas
Poussin and David Teniers; the family D'Hautpoul de Blanchefort; St. Vincent
Depaul; Marquis Créqui de Blanchefort; the writer Maurice Le Blanc; Jules Verne
and Jean Cocteau... What about the idea: The
treasure is a bloodline ? In some books a bloodline,
beginning with the Merovingian Kings is the main point, but the genealogy
papers on which these conclusions are based seem to be a fake: setup by a
certain Pierre de Plantard and his friend Marquis de Cherisey. The germ of this
Merovingian bloodline is taken from a hidden text in the second (short)
parchment also found in the church of Rennes-le-Château. This second decoded phrase reads as: A DAGOBERT II ROY ET A SION EST CE TRESOR ET IL EST LA
MORT Of Dagobert II King and of
Sion is this treasure and it is (or means) death. In contrast to other
authors, we read this sentence as: Of Dagobert... II Kings... And of Sion is this
treasure... And it is death (or means
death). Most writers mix parts of
the texts of the "two" parchments, but, in our opinion this should
not be done. So in their explanation the
name "Dagobert" found in the "short document" is connected
with a section of the "long document": DCLXXXI. The latter is seen as the
indication of a year: the year 681. So they argue, this date is linked with the
murdered Merovingian king: Dagobert II, killed near Stenay. But this is not quite correct as
King Dagobert was done to death in 679. To explain the difference
of two years, they reason: the year 681 should be seen as the arrival date in
the Rennes-le-Château area of Sigisbert IV, son of the late Dagobert II, but we
see this as a rather weak piece of deduction. History states clearly, the
son of Dagobert II, Sigisbert IV, was murdered together with his father... However it may be, we found
out that another "Dagobert" existed, but this Dagobert lived the days
of the first official Crusade, around the time of the founding of the Order of
the Temple. This Dagobert was very much
involved in the intrigues that surrounded the founding of the Kingdom of
Jerusalem and in a way the owner of all wealth subsequently discovered. We surmise, two Kings (II
ROY) is a reference to Geoffroy of Bouillon, hero of the Crusades and the first
(albeit uncrowned King of Jerusalem) and to his brother Boudouin, the first
crowned King of Jerusalem. Once the Kingdom of
Jerusalem was promised to the Church and at the same time a Kingdom was lost... In my last and final book:
"Through Darkness into the Light", the story of this real Dagobert is
described in detail. To solve the
Rennes-le-Château mystery, we wrote over the years three books (available on
CD-ROM): "The Horse of God"; The "True Language of Rennes-le-Château"
and "Through Darkness into the Light". For more information we invite you to visit our home
